servizi/temperatura-controllata
Maintaining the required temperature during shipping is a hallmark of the services offered by Eurolinea. Optimal results call for dedicated resources and advanced systems, employed to ensure that the required temperatures, or integrity of the cold chain, are maintained.
The operating staff relies on temperature control software to monitor conditions in real time inside of vehicles and in the warehouse. Once the required temperature is set, the system warns the operators of any "out of range“ readings, so immediate action can be taken. If the anomaly is detected during transport, the system sends a signal to both the driver's on-board computer and to the desk of an outside control company, authorized by Eurolinea to coordinate action and to ensure a rapid solution.
All the recorded readings are archived and the documented history is stored on the Eurolinea server for at least five years, in order to allow all customers to verify, at any time, the exact shipping conditions of their load.
Once the vehicle reaches its destination, it is possible to print out the monitored temperature readings during shipping. This can be done by the driver or the staff at Eurolinea headquarters, who have access to this data via GPS.
