Demonstrating its commitment to achieving ever more competitive standards of quality, in December 2009 Eurolinea obtained ISO9001:2008 certification - another milestone on a journey that began in 2003 with ISO9001:2000 certification - and focused on increasing the efficiency of procedures,as outlined in the European directives.
ISO9001:2008 certification compiles with legislation dated July 6,1999 and to directive 92/25/EEC, governing the distribution of pharmaceutical and medical products throughout Europe. Ahead of the game, Eurolinea was already in compliance with this directive for all products requiring maximum care and handling, not just those in the categories being regulated.
Det Norske Veritas, European leader in risk prevention and management and actively engaged in safeguarding the environment, certified that all the procedures adopted by Eurolinea are in keeping with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) guidelines.
Eurolinea’s respect for the environment finds its most concrete expression in some rather simple solutions: fleet management that includes regular maintenance programs, vehicle replacement every 3 years, disposal of oil and used filters by certified firms, and the use of additives to reduce emissions and to safeguard the environment.
